Shelita Jefferson is a powerhouse of professionalism and community engagement, bringing her diverse expertise and passion to the Lathrop Juneteenth Heritage Committee. With a career spanning claims adjustment, real estate, and corporate administration, Jefferson’s journey reflects her ability to lead, adapt, and inspire.

A graduate of Everest College-Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, Jefferson began her career as an LDU Claims Adjuster at Allstate. Her keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence earned her recognition in the insurance industry. She later expanded her professional portfolio by obtaining real estate broker and salesperson licenses in California, where she excelled in new construction sales as a Realtor.

Jefferson’s leadership extends beyond her professional life. As an active member of the Lathrop Juneteenth Heritage Committee, she channels her talents into organizing events that celebrate freedom, culture, and resilience. Her ability to connect with people and foster unity has made her an invaluable part of the committee’s mission to honor the legacy of Juneteenth.
