Join the City of Lathrop and the Lathrop Juneteenth Heritage Committee as we gather for our 4th Annual Juneteenth Celebration—an afternoon of remembrance, reflection, and joy honoring Freedom Day.

This family-friendly event will feature:

• Live performances: spoken word, gospel, hip-hop, dance, and local youth talent celebrating Black history and culture.

• Music & entertainment: DJs and live musicians bringing soul, rap, R&B, jazz, and Afrocentric sounds to the heart of Lathrop.

• Vendors & food: Black-owned businesses, community organizations, and delicious food options with flavors from the African diaspora.

• Youth activities: art stations, storytelling, and interactive games that teach history in engaging, age-appropriate ways.

• Community resources: information booths highlighting education, health, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement opportunities.

Juneteenth is both a celebration and a call to continue the work of justice. Come connect with neighbors, support local artists and entrepreneurs, and honor the legacy of freedom that shapes our shared future here in Lathrop.
